Those seeking fun in the snow in summer temperatures can experience the glacier up close in the SnowXperience Plateau Rosa adventure world right next to the Testa Grigia station. The SnowXperience is one of the highlights on the route of the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing and is easy to reach in summer with the Matterhorn Glacier Ride II.
The beginners' area with conveyor belt offers the perfect opportunity to try out snow sports equipment for the first time. All equipment, including a guide, can be hired in the basement of the Matterhorn Glacier Ride II valley station, from CHF 79 per person. All around, you can marvel at the breathtaking panorama or cross the border between Italy and Switzerland at 3,480 metres above sea level.
