exciting opportunities for our partners. Here’s a concise

LUGGAGE
TRANSPORT SERVICE
The new luggage transport service makes the Matterhorn
Alpine Crossing even more comfortable. For CHF/EUR 20.00
per piece, luggage can be dropped off either in Zermatt or
Cervinia. This allows guests to fully enjoy the cable car
journey, the many highlights along the route and the
breathtaking scenery, while upon arrival their luggage is
already waiting at the final destination. All information

available online.

SUMMER
OPERATIONS
Despite the construction of the new Patrullarve chairlift,
the Sunnegga-Blauherd-Rothorn area will remain open this
summer season. Guests can look forward to beautiful, themed
hiking trails, the playground at lake Leisee and numerous
restaurants in the sun-drenched hamlet of Findeln. The
Sunnegga-Express will start its summer operations slightly
later, on 13 June, due to tunnel maintenance and access
improvements. For detailed information, please refer to the

NEW
PATRULLARVE CHAIRLIFT
The oldest chairlift in the Matterhorn Ski Paradise, the
Patrullarve chairlift, will be replaced by a modern
6-seater after 37 years. Construction begins after the
winter season, with the new lift featuring Leitner’s latest
‘Ropera’ technology ready for the 2026/27 season. It offers
durable components, energy-efficient systems, and optimized
maintenance for greater comfort and efficiency.

DAY TRIP TO CERVINIA
The return journey of the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing offers
the perfect opportunity for a day trip to Italy. The
mountain village of Cervinia impresses with its spectacular
alpine scenery and wide range of leisure activities,
including hiking, a walk to Lago Blu, biking or golf.
Charming streets, vibrant local culture and culinary
delights turn the excursion into a memorable experience.
The total travel time is approximately 3.5 hours.

Since this winter season, travel agencies and tour
operators can officially purchase ski passes through our
new Trade-Webshop. The platform is currently being
optimized so that our excursion products and offerings will
