 Description

Are you a racing driver? An adventurer, downhill biker, adrenaline junkie? Or do you just enjoy trying out new activities? Then mountain carting could prove to be your new favourite thing to do in Zermatt! It’s a thrilling ride down the mountain from Rothorn (3103 metres) to Blauherd (2578 metres). A drop of over 500 metres of altitude and countless moments of action and fun.

So, what are mountaincarts? They are three-wheel go-carts; they have a comfortable seat and high-quality aluminium frame, and wide tyres to ensure a smooth ride over rough ground. Hydraulic disc brakes with a dual circuit brake system and tough wheels make sure you can always stop safely. The cart’s low centre of gravity ensures additional stability and safety.

You can hire your mountaincarts at the Blauherd station. Staff will explain the rules, show you how the carts work and provide you with a helmet and goggles. Then it’s off on a wild downhill adventure!

**The more the merrier**

The more friends, colleagues or family members you bring along the more fun mountain carting is. Tickets can be obtained from the web shop, at the valley station or on Blauherd. There are also family rates and discounts for children.

**Tip:** For a birthday treat, motivational exercise or club outing – mountain carting is the perfect group activity for action addicts!

 The mountaincarts will be handed out from 10 a.m. until 60 minutes before the last ascent from Blauherd to Rothorn.

 What reductions apply to the experiences?

There are different reductions depending on the experiences. You can find this information for each offer under "Prices". In most cases, however, there is a discount for children unter 16 years and for half-fare/GA holders\*.

*\*The reduced price, if available, also applies if you have a Swiss Travel Pass or if you have already purchased a Peak Pass.*

 How do I access my experience after I’ve bought it?

When buying an experience, you will receive a binding booking confirmation. You use this confirmation, i.e. the booking code contained therein (voucher), to redeem the service you have booked.
