Keen-eyed hikers will be able to admire edelweiss, alpenrose and other rare treasures of Alpine flora. The plant kingdom of Zermatt is as unique as the Matterhorn itself. No fewer than **40 Zermatt plant species** are very rare in the rest of Switzerland, **seven of them actually being endemic** to Zermatt. Display boards along the route provide information about the **native flowers** growing nearby. Find the right ticket ----------------------- There are as many different tickets as there are diverse flower meadows in the Zermatt Alps. **Our tip for the Flower Trail** Zermatt Bergbahnen recommends the Kombi-Ticket for exploring the Flower Trail with all its Alpine flowers. The Kombi-Ticket for the Flower Trail includes one trip from Zermatt to Blauherd and one from Sunnegga to Zermatt. For people with more on their bucket list, the Peak Pass is the best option.
