Successful first months of the Matterhorn Test Centre

Stöckli Test Centre permanently set up

Throughout the winter season, the Stöckli Test Centre remains permanently set up in the smaller part of the building and ski-savvy guests can test the latest models from the world champion brand Stöckli from 9.00 a.m. each day. The new Matterhorn Test Centre, positioned directly on the ski slope, is very well received by guests thanks to its modern design and the comfort of the "ski-in ski-out" experience. Those responsible on site are also enthusiastic about the new location: "With this panorama and the modern premises, working is twice as much fun. We have enough space and the guests are amazed by the view of the Matterhorn through the large windows," enthuses Frank Ludwig from Stöckli Swiss Sports AG.

Matterhorn Testcenter - More than just ski testing

The modern premises with the Matterhorn as an imposing backdrop invite you to do more than just test the latest ski models. In the large room, where the official ski test takes place from October to November, events, meetings or gatherings of various kinds can be held from January to September, where, depending on the type of seating, up to 460 people can enjoy a unique experience - including the view of the Matterhorn. At 461m², it is also the room with the largest capacity in Zermatt. The event hall was inaugurated on 1st October 2021 in the course of the annual general meeting of Zermatt Bergbahnen. Markus Hasler, CEO of Zermatt Bergbahnen, is convinced: "With the Matterhorn Testcenter, we have sent a signal that we are always moving forward and investing in the future."
