New design for the shop at Matterhorn Glacier Paradise
Following a brief renovation period, the shop at Restaurant Matterhorn Glacier Paradise now shines in new splendour. At 3,883 metres above sea level, guests can enjoy a modern shop design with optimised visitor flow and a significantly enhanced shopping experience.
As part of one of the most popular tourist destinations, the souvenir shop integrated into the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise restaurant is also very popular and is considered an important part of the mountain experience. The carefully curated product range includes everything from exclusive items and practical mountain gear to souvenirs and mementos, with a special focus on Swissness and sustainability.
In order to best accommodate the high volume of guests and the interplay between the restaurant, shop and sanitary facilities in terms of service quality for guests, a well-thought-out concept with improved presentation areas was developed and implemented with the support of local construction companies.
The result is an effective presentation of the products, efficient management of visitor flows and additional space that allows for expansion of the product range. The modern, inviting ambience enhances the high-quality shopping experience at Europe's highest mountain station and sets new standards for quality and service.
