SAFE STORAGE: NO LUGGING GEAR AROUND

Zermatt Bergbahnen offers the highest levels of convenience and security next to the slopes. Ski storage depots mean you can stow your gear at a station of your choice after a day’s skiing and enjoy an unencumbered trip back to your hotel. Next day, you can simply pick up your equipment again and get back on the slopes. There are six different depot sites in total for winter season, with two types of storage available. The overview shows the various locations and which type of storage is offered.

Ski racks

Ski racks allow you to lock up one pair of skis, which can be stored for 24 hours for CHF 2. The overview shows where the racks are located. The racks can only be opened once during the rental period.

Ski lockers

If you would like to store more gear, you can rent a locker for 24 hours for a fee of CHF 12. The lockers have space for two pairs of skis, boots and helmets, and are also heated. They may be opened and locked up as often as you wish during the rental period.

Operation and payment

Ski racks or ski lockers can be booked at Skidata machines or at the ticket desk. Booking and payment must always be completed before use. Once the process is finished, a locker number is assigned automatically.

Detailed instructions are provided on-site; all steps are clearly displayed to ensure a simple and easy-to-follow process.

No liability is assumed for loss of objects and valuables from rented storage depots. The storage depots are cleared at the end of each season and the contents disposed of. First Track

The early start is worthwhile as you arrive at the Matterhorn Ski Paradise before anyone else. Bask in the warmth of the first rays of sun before you take to the perfectly prepared slopes. Later, stop at a cosy restaurant for a hearty breakfast. A dream becomes reality – thanks to Zermatt Bergbahnen!
