What could be better than a Swiss cheese fondue surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama? You will certainly not forget the fondue evening in the Fluhalp mountain restaurant any time soon! At 6.30 p.m. you take the gondola up into the quiet mountain world to the Blauherd station. After a short walk (approx. 30-45 minutes), past the beautiful Stellisee, you will reach the Fluhalp restaurant. Here you can end your day on the large sun terrace with an aperitif and a breathtaking view.
Pleasure with a Matterhorn view
Before the setting sun bathes the mountain peaks in a golden light, a typical Swiss dinner awaits you in the restaurant: A platter with specialities from Valais, followed by the creamy cheese fondue Fluhalp. But don’t forget to leave some room for dessert! You can’t miss the homemade apple strudel with vanilla ice cream! And while you are enjoying your dinner, you will see a beautiful play of colours outside as the sun slowly disappears behind the mountain tops.
Strengthened by the delicious meal, you then make your way back to the Blauherd station, from where the gondola brings you back to Zermatt at 10.30 p.m.
