With the supplementary Crystal Ride ticket, you get an unforgettable gondola experience between Trockener Steg and Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and/or between Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and Testa Grigia.
The Matterhorn Glacier Ride I and II are the highest 3S cableways in the world. They both feature one very special highlight: several exclusive “Crystal Ride” cabins decorated with crystals. Their true secret is only disclosed during the ride, however, when the darkened floors suddenly become transparent to reveal stunning views of the glacial landscape below. An amazing experience and one not to be missed!
During the winter season the Crystal Ride offer is only available on request and from 10 persons!
The following ticket options are available for the Crystal Ride cabins. It does not matter whether you redeem the rides on the Matterhorn Glacier Ride I or II:

Questions & answers
No, the ticket prices are exactly the same. However, the Matterhorn app has a smaller range of tickets to choose from. In the Matterhorn app you can also load ski passes onto the SBB Swisspass. The Matterhorn app is available to download free from the App Store or Google Play store.
With the half-fare card/GA you get 50% off the following tickets:
- Single & return tickets to all stations in Switzerland (until and including Testa Grigia)
- Peak2Peak ticket, Gornergrat round trip ticket
- Kombi-tickets
- Bike passes
On the Peak Pass you get a 25% discount with the half-fare card/GA.
You can buy the reduced tickets online if you have a SwissPass with a valid half-fare/GA travelcard. The ticket will be charged directly to your card. Please remember to carry the SwissPass card with you (mobile SwissPass is not possible). Otherwise, we ask you to buy your reduced tickets at one of our sales points upon presentation of your reduction card.
